Writers and Poets! Win cash, prizes, a Wisconsin Book Festival reading, and publication in  Wisconsin People & Ideas – the quarterly magazine of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters, in its 27th annual poetry and fiction contest. The deadline for submissions is Monday, March 15. First-place winners also receive a one-week residency at Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Karen Loeb, professor emerita of English from the UW-Eau Claire and the City of Eau Claire’s former Writer-in-Residence, won first place in poetry in 2016.
